Asics Gel Antares 2 Shoe Feature

I got a pair of Asics Antares 2 as a prize in a raffle during the Condura Run press launch last December. This is my second pair of Asics. I bought an Asics Nimbus 11 last 2010 as well. View the photos and features of the Asics Antares 2 below.
Asics Antares 2 is a light performance shoe. It is recommended for those who overpronates and looking for a lightweight shoes they can use training. The Asics Antares 2 features include AHAR® abrasion resistant rubber, shock attenuating rearfoot GEL® Cushioning System, a removable sockliner, and a vibrant synthetic leather and mesh upper.
Thinner rubber soles makes them lighter.
Compared to my Asics GEL Nimbus 11, the Antares 2 has thinner outsoles especially at the forefoot. This keeps the shoes lighter in its class.
Upper mesh is thightly knit but provides good breathability.
Fully padded tongue and collar.
It is a combination of synthetic leather and mesh upper that provides lightweight comfort and breathability while enhancing performance and fit. Synthetic leather overlays provide light, durable support. Lightly padded tongue and collar for added comfort.
AHAR outsoles provide good traction and durability. I like the way the soles were designed.
AHAR (ASICS High Abrasion Rubber) is placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability. And is known for its supreme durability and is strategically placed throughout high-wear areas of the outsole.
Asics GEL Cushioning is provided at the rear foot.
Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System attenuates shock during impact phase and allows for a smooth transition to midstance.
This is the price tag. It’s cheaper than the Nimbus.
Asics GEL Antares is priced at 5,100 Php. They are available at the Asics store in Greenbelt 3.
