Timex Ironman Run Trainer Review

Reviews for the Timex Run Trainer has been positive even prior to its release.

Heart Rate Watch Company even named the Timex Run Trainer as the best GPS running watch for 2011.

According to Rusty Squire, Heart Rate Watch Company President, “We were super impressed with what we saw coming out of the folks at Timex on this GPS watch.  It was a really close call between the Timex Run Trainer and the Garmin Forerunner 210 but we had to give the nod to Timex for adding some features the Garmin did not have and their Training Peaks software platform.”

The big display is a plus. It can be customized up to 4 line mode. Although petite women would find the watch big for their wrist.

The best thing about the Run Trainer is its lower price compared to the competition but with added features like alerts for distance and pace.  It also has an auto start/stop which is great for stop lights.

Overall, the Timex Run Trainer is a good alternative for a cheaper GPS watch but packed with premium features.  A great value for money.
