  1. RunRIOT says:

    First blood!

Overall, it was good. Hydration for 32K was inadequate though especially for the last few kms. Naubusan ng water sa last few hydration stops. Di man lang ako nakainom ng Powerade.

And as usual, ang daming mabahong parts sa route whenever it’s the MOA area.

  2. Terrible situation at the last stretch of the 32KM Category. No water at the 30KM mark. We just walked as to avoid any serious trouble (say Heat Stroke). Thanks to an ATC Runner who provided their team’s water and pocari sweat at Petron Gasoline Station. We were spared from being totally dehydrated. Water stations are equally crucial and important especially at such distance. We hope Coach Rio can provide an explanation and solution to what happened earlier today.

  3. cesar carriedo says:

Overall my experience was not that bad for the 32k. Water hydration were more than adequate and the mile markers were efficiently placed and very helpful. Marshals were very visible and effective. Its not perfect though and I could nit pick but Ive seen and experienced worst. Kudos to all the crew and the management team for a job well done.

  4. Antonio Z. Pio de Roda says:

Coach Rio definitely had a problem with the water stations. It was extremely hot at the end, and the water station at the 30km did not have any water, and that was a stretch with almost no shade at all. Most runners around me had to walk to avoid dehydration. Luckily the very last water station, at about the 31km, still had lots of water. The organizers should have been aware early that the 30km water station was about to run out, and should have rushed more water over from the nearby water stations.

  5. dominic says:

  6. rogel diaz says:

yeah, overall ok yung race and me dagdag pa,before ko ma reach yung finish line me nakita ako bouncer and runner gusto magsuntukan…. not a good sign

  7. edel says:

job well done for rio…except i was expecting for a portalet halfway (like for adidas kotr where there were few in buendia flyover.really helpful for female 10miler runners)… i find the hydration, finishers kit distribution organized..except that i got a Large singlet from glorietta reg site..it was a memorable first 21k run for me and my buddy hazel quiambao

  8. Henny says:

The race was very good and very organized. Thanks and congratulatios to runrio for the job well done. When can we have the official race results?

  9. Rotech_Ling says:

another well organized run by runrio!!!

  10. Dadsmd says:

  11. GeneB says:

Well organized! But I agree with Dadsmd. Kulang ang Powerade. For us who ran 32K, we needed it. Question, when can we get our “special shirt” for those who completed all 3 legs. I even brought all three BIBs yesterday, hoping I will use it as a proof to claim the shirt. Also we never receive the leg 2 certificate anymore.

  12. pyxcel says:

  13. Mon says:

RU3 gave me the opportunity to experience for the first time a 32K run. It was meant as a prelude to a full marathon, which I plan to run at next year’s Condura Marathon. Before RU3, I participated in a variety of half-marathons. Running a 32K before a marathon has given me a plethora of lessons (which I blogged about in http://solorunning.wordpress.com/2011/11/14/what-i-learned-from-a-32k/).
But I just have a few gripes about RU3—one, passing through Buendia caused a huge traffic with buses and jeeps and we probably inhaled a great amount of pollution; two, the Buendia route was so narrow that runners naturally had to slow down, frustrating those who were gunning for a PR (not me); and three, towards the end of the race, the hydration stations ran out of water.

  14. winston says:

this was my first 5k run. being a newbie it was a blast. joined at the last minute, late by 15 minutes but it still turned out well for me. i think i’m hooked! when is the next runrio event? i appreciate the logistics and manpower involved before and after the event. Thank You to the organizers and fellow runners who enjoyed running for what it is. THANK YOU

  15. Monette says:

Leg 2 is better. Play pay attention to the most important thing – hydration of the runners.. Baka may madisgrasya.

  16. jose alan laid says:

as a runner kailangan ready sa mga sitwasyon na magaganp sa araw ng race.gaya ng hydration kailangan advanced ang mind mo training may game plan sa race day yun ang baon mo.kailangan lumaban sa matinding struggle.tamang pacing sa level mo.sooner malapit ka na pala sa finish line.run united 3 32k o.k yung race well done.1 ako sa finisher

  17. master mamerto says:

i thought that the finisher shirt for 32k has an imprint of “i survived” at the back, bat wala. hehehe

  18. JHAY says:

It was my very 1st 21K Run and it was a mix feeling crossing the finish line with a time of 2:06min . . .Thanks god, Thanks Unilab ,Thanks RUNRIO. . .

  19. apollag says:

anybody here banned from posting on the RUNRIO INC fb page like me? i was just posting my concerns regarding the promo tshirt supposedly for those who completed this year’s trilogy. also runrio deleted several negative posts instead of addressing them. do you think we just forget those promises as advertised?

  20. julie ann says:

It was a really nice experienced for a first time 21k runner like me. I enjoy my 1st medal for finishers and the finisher’s shirt as well. It was a great day for me & my hubby Harold. Its my birthday run. Tnx run rio. I really love running. More runs to come. Cheers RUNNERS…..

  21. jewalds says:

good from the start we have bananas after 10km, but after 15km wala na hanngang sa last 3km of 32km, very disappoint kc don mo maramdaman ung pagud at gutom kaso wala ng makuhang kahit ano man lamang.. ung napilitan humingi ng saging sa mga naglalako at karamihan walang dala na pero, we hope coach Rio sa ssunod ay merong supporta o back up man lang at ng makaabot sa finish ung karamihan. at isa pa po walang medic na nag iikot sa routa ng takbo madaming pinulikat sa kalye…

  22. corikong says:

Ok naman ang race. Nag-PR pa ako sa 10K. Ok ang hydration at in fairness, madami ako nainom na Powerade, I even got a half filled bottle from the station and drank it while running. Pero ang konti ng freebies totoo lang. Mas madami pa sa KOTR where I got flip-flops and caps. At ang finisher’s kit, although I dig the shoe bag, bakit ganun ang laman? I don’t get it. Unilab ito ang what do you get? 1-2 sample tablets and vitamins? Ano ba naman maglagay sila ng isang bottle ng Vitamin C or E or Revicon na kahit tipong 3 months nalang ang shelf life? Hayss!

  23. mitchz says:

I am one who completed the 3legs run, where and when can I get the special shirt that you promise if we complete the 3 legs.Thank you.

  24. pyxcel says:

  25. Rox says:

Where can we get the photos taken during the run?thanks!

  26. Lance A. says:

    The results are out.Finally!

  27. jerico says:

nasa top 15% ako ng mga 21km runners. yehey! pang 327 ako out of 2191. 1st 21km run great experience.

  28. Arbie Jacinto says:

    bakit wala ang time ko?
    21km

  29. rodrigo quillan says:

I just wanna ask where i could claim my finisher’s shirt for 32k. i wasn’t able to get it during the run. thank you!

  30. banesto says:

good day, how come my name, number and time did not have a result, for sure i finished 17th to 19th place and clocked 1:43:++.
baka meron dito na pwede akong matulungan to get and have my result.

    thanks if you could help.

  31. Dhen says:

the run done good except for one thing,,, water station staff are not runners, registered runners should be the one to drink energy drink especially those who run the 32k and 21k, imagine they served water to runners then you see them drinking energy drinks…..paging organizers!!!!!!!!

  32. Siuhon says:

Hi, I was able to finished my 21K….I think the area for runs is more better to do it at BGC rather than in MOA…the traffic, and the fumes are terrible and it is not good for the runners health.
Secondly, I would like to ask, how can we, the runners who completed the trilogy, get their Tshirt? Where do we get it? Is it still available? Hope to hear from you regarding this matter…Thank you so much

  33. kurt says:

    Where are the photos?

  34. jaf says:

WHERE is the photos? WHERE is the shirt for the runners who completed the trilogy?

  35. run_lang says:

Looks like Run Rio didn’t take photos. I’m annoyed.

  36. POGI says:
