Gifts from Runner Friends
Thank you runner friends for your continued support in our chosen beneficiary for this holiday season. We have filled a box with your donations of school supplies – pens, pencils, crayons, watercolors, notebooks, papers and dictionaries!
Last year, we shipped school supplies to Davao for the Pens of Hope. This year, our gifts will be shared to Service for Peace Philippines. These will be used by young people who are part of the alternative learning system (ALS). ALS is a DepEd program, adapted by SFP, that enables out-of-school young people to go back to out of the box and practical learning process to earn their diploma in elementary and high school levels and will eventually prepare them to work for a living.
