Run for Pinoy Glory 3/5/10/21K (BGC)
Run for Pinoy Glory will be held on January 7, 2012 at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. This is a fundraising run for the benefit of our Olympic and Paralympic athletes in the London 2012 Games. Winning the elusive Olympic gold medal is the goal of every member of the Philippine National Team. The proceeds from this run will provide qualifying athletes with supplementary funding to help them train for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Let’s harness the bayanihan spirit and do our share in helping our athletes attain Pinoy glory in the Games!

This is a fundraising event for our Olympians and Paralympians, so we want to maximize the funds we can give them. Lalo na po yung Paralympians na kailangan talaga ng karagdagang pondo.
Marami sa Paralympic athletes ay dating able-bodied athletes na sa kasamaang-palad ay naaksidente kaya hindi na makapag-compete as able-bodied. Pero sa kabila nito ay gusto pa rin nilang magbigay-karangalan sa ating bansa. They epitomize the indomitable spirit of a true athlete, saludo po kami sa kanila.
We are working on getting a sponsor to shoulder the costs of a finisher’s medal, babalitaan po namin kayo.
Pero sana po kahit wala pang guaranteed medal ay sumali pa rin tayo, kasi para ito sa mga kapwa nating atleta na nagsisikap magbigay-karangalan sa ating bansa.

AS A RUNNER NAGING CHOSY na po ang mga mananakbo natin dahil sa daming races naka calendar. halos nagkasabay na in one date. as marketing strategy to attract more runners to join at makalikom ng malaking pondo sa fund raising. cost ng Medal Php 50.00 and Singlet Php 80.oo in bulk. total Php 130.00 in Php 750.00 reg fee not bad to have FINIHER SHIRT AND MEDAL TO Finisher Runners. specially in long distances.Sugestion po lamang. malamang tama ka boss aries..2 bagay lang. Una, sabado ang takbo pangalawa, walanag finishers medal.. kahit walang finisher shirt basta may medal,tyak marami tatakbo sa 21k. Mas maganda i reset na lang ng organizer sa ibang date para makakuha talaga sila ng pondo at mabago ang freebies, kung di kaya na ibigay ang medal at finisher shirt, kahit medal na lang. iba yung nakasabit kesa sa nakasuot kasi may singlet na naman.. pag natuloy to, tyak lugi at sigurado dami na naman complain runner.,kung sunday ito at may medal, tatakbo ako.

In response to requests, registration for Summit Run for Pinoy Glory is extended:
R.O.X. = until January 6, 2012
Chris Sports = until January 5, 2012 (please log on to http://www.shadowfaxevents.com for a list of participating outlets)
Online registration is also available until January 5, 2012.
CLARIFICATION ON EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION PERIOD:
Please note that only the registration period has been extended. This extension does not apply to our free delivery service of race kits within NCR. This means that those who will register after January 1 cannot avail of the free race kit delivery service.
For those who will register at R.O.X. between January 2 to 6, race kits will be already be available in-store so you will be able to receive your kits as you register.
For those who will register online or at Chris Sports between January 2 to 5, you may claim your race kits at the event proper on January 7 between 4am to 6am.

Great event, just want to know kung saan mapapapalit ang “finisher’s shirt” sa actual finisher’s shirt kasi yung nasa bag ko ay singlet instead of finisher’s shirt. Thank you.
