The race itself was very well organized, kudos to RUNRIO! What I’m a bit disappointed was the feeling afterwards during the program where it seems the 5K runners were more favored over all other participants particularly durign the raffle draws.
The Grand prize winners were limited to 5k participants, for reasons I don’t know.
The only reason I can think of is that since 5K runners have more regiastrations in general, RUNRIO and its organizers can make more money out of them in the future.
Hope the organizers can be more fair in the future.
Go Natural 2012 21K was the best Half Marathon overall for me and I got my new PR running it yesterday–3rd Place Women’s Division—Thanks to the organizers and the volunteers who helped make the event successful—WoooHoooo!

So far, the event was well organized, kudos to RUNRIO. And I seem to have gained lots of energy during the run, imagine, finishing my 2nd 5k run in 47:44, non-stop..I was targeting a PR of 1 hour tops. Congrats to me and the organizers.

T’was great fun. Simply love to see people having fun as well, sharing positively about promoting good health as diabetes awareness. Overall the race was satisfactorily executed. The race raffle would have been much more exciting if opened to all but still, tks to all the really generous sponsors. I could forgo the raffle prize, not the overflowing bananas! Tks to everyone behind the race!
this was a special day for me. i got my sister to participate in the 5k run for the first time. she did it in 40 minutes. Good Job Tina! I got a new PR too in my 10k. Thanks RUNRIO. hope everything goes well too in your future events.

It was my first time to join a run willingly and I did not regret it. I actually joined because of my work since I’m with MoveforMove100, an advocacy campaign that aims to inspire Filipinos to start an active health lifestyle through stories, but it was also very personal for me.
I’ve been sedentary most of my life and although I’m not big, I don’t feel energetic. Joining this run was easy from the registration to the actual run, because there was much support and encouragement from the RunRio team. Thanks for making my first run memorable and positive.
I’m definitely joining again. Here’s to an energetic 2012!
