Singapore Marathon 2012 Registration Starts July 6

The registration the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2012 (SCMS 2012) starts on July 6, at Raffles Place Park at 11am.  Perks and huge discounts awaits the early registrants to this highly popular running event.

The first 1,000 SCMS 2012 registrants at the Raffles Place Park will receive a limited edition goodie bag as well as special race privileges.  They will also be entitled to priority sign ups and a 50 percent discount for running clinics, free transportation from designated pick up points across Singapore on race day, and there will also be a dedicated counter for them at the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC).

Lucky draws will also be conducted, with attractive prizes such as Seiko men’s watches worth Sin$645 each, and Pure Fitness memberships worth S$1,600 for six months courtesy of the event’s sponsors.

Runners will also be able to register for their running slots online via the official website (www.marathonsingapore.com) from 11am at 6 July 2012, as well as at Toa Payoh Sports & Recreation Centre (SRC) from 11am, 7 July 2012 onwards.

The registration launch at Raffles Place Park, Raffles Place MRT Station, on 6 July 2012, will close at 4pm.

The race will take place on 2 December 2012.
