The Run For Given (UP)
The Run For Given will be held on October 7, 2012 at UP Diliman Oval. Last year, UPLB student Given Grace Cebanico was raped and killed in Los Baños, Laguna. Suspects were arrested just days after the crime, but after a year, the trial is yet to start. What we condemn the most is what we believe to be the worst gender-based crime—rape.
Organizing a series of events for Given will not only help her family fund the long legal trials, but also put forward our vigilance against all forms of violence against women.

Tanong ko lang. Each cycle yata sa UP is 2.2 km. Lalabas ba sa UP para makumpleto ang 3 km? Kung susundin yung map sa taas, ang magiging category is 2.2, 4.4 at 8.8 km… I’m just asking because I’m interested in this event. =)
wala naman yatang specific na distance basta’t this is base on loop (1loop, 2loops, 4loops) so lumalabas 1loop 2.24, 2 loops 4.48 and 4 loops 8.96
