Red Cross Million Volunteer Run 2013 5K (Catanduanes)
The 2nd Philippine Red Cross Million Volunteer Run 2013 will be on February 10, 2013 in Virac, Catanduanes. Following the successful Million Volunteer Run last December 4, 2011, Philippine Red Cross is completing its extensive network of one million volunteers in order to deliver our services effectively and successfully through the “Million Volunteer Run”, to be held on Saturday, February 10, 2013.
The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) will serve as a driving force to advance the spirit of volunteerism to address today’s humanitarian challenges. We will empower the nation against the dangers of disasters. The funds will be raised for the Red Cross 143 Volunteers Training Program on disaster management, equipping the Filipino communities with life-saving tools.
