Takbo.ph RunFest 2013 : Thank You!

Takbo.ph was created in 2008 with the idea of building a community of runners.  The forum and the shoutbox, when facebook was not yet available, is a chat room, not just for running related talks but for meet ups, get-togethers and laugh trips. RunFest is an annual celebration that we get to find another excuse meet up again, remembering our forum names/handles, and to celebrate running. We were so happy that during the first RunFest (in 2010), we have personalized bibs and singlets!

We all missed RunFest last year but this 2013, we’re back for a more fun and bigger celebration. After all, it’s our 5th Year Anniversary! It was more than a week ago but watching the RUNFEST 2013 video still gives us the goosebumps. It was great celebration with the Filipino running community. A million thanks to everyone for making the event a success.

Last but definitely never the least, to our volunteers and marshals special thanks you all of you. Thank you for spending hours, under the moon and the sun, helping and cheering runners. We are always grateful. Indeed, it’s one happy event where you see runners-turned- marshals, giving up their runs to encourage fellow runners to finish their race.
