Save the date for Runfest 2014 – Manila. The Takbo.ph Runfest 2014 will be on July 13, 2014 at the Bonifacio Global City. We’re excited to see you again as we celebrate running.

What’s cooking for Runfest 2014

Here’s what you can expect so far. Designs for the singlet, shirt and medal to follow soon.

  • Takbo.ph Singlet – If you missed last year’s event, here’s your chance to have your own Takbo.ph Singlet. It won’t be personalized though like the 2010 edition.
  • Personalized Race Bib (optional) –  Just like last year, those who register during the early registration period will have their names on their race bibs.
  • Race categories will be 5K, 10K and 21K.
  • Finisher’s Shirt for the 21K Finishers.
  • Finisher’s medal for all categories. As always, all runners in the 5K, 10K and 21K gets a medal when they cross the finish line.
  • RFID Timing.
  • Early Registration will start around March 2014.  Race kit claiming will be by June 2014.

Takbo.ph Runfest in Cebu?

We have plans to have our first Takbo.ph Runfest in Cebu! I have great memories of my races and runs in Cebu including my first 42K! So why not have a Takbo.ph event there too.

Nothing is final yet for Runfest Cebu yet but it’s in the pipeline. Stay tuned for more announcements.

    yes, its one of the best event i participated last year.i just hope the printing of the singlet and finisher’s shirt will be better. nag didikit dikit at natutuklap yung paint until now

      We wont be having a 3K distance this year. The 3K was intentionally removed. The shortest distance will be 5K. There is still time to train until July. 😀

    Ngayon pa lang po e papaunahan ko na kayo. Sana huwag kayong gagaya sa Runrio na through prepaid cards ang naging systema ng registration nila. Sigurado marami ang sasali sa event na ito kaya kung ayaw ninyong kapusin sa preparasyon e maaga kayong magsimula ng registration. Sana rin makukuha na agad ang racekit at huli pong banat e mag extends kayo hanggang sa sahod ang registration…

      For early registration, race kits will not be provided yet since the race bibs will be personalized. There will be a race kit claiming in June for those who registers early.

      Hi jnertherunner, we will follow the same procedure last year. Early registration starts this coming March-April with the online first and the in-store a few weeks later. No kits will be provided yet since the race bibs will be personalized. Race kit claiming will be in June.

      If there are still slots remaining, we will open registration again by June.

      Sa pagkakaintindi ko po Ladylyne meron yan medal for ALL and FS sa 21k. I’m sure hindi mo pagsisihan yung singlet design and clothing nila ^_^ (same last events)

      The medal will be bigger than last year. It’s 2.5 inches in diameter. 😀

    Last year’s funrun was my first ever, even my young kids were inspired to run, and we did in Dec. I will join again this year. I take it no more delivery of race kits like last year? Claiming in June means we have to claim it person? Thanks and may God continue to bless takbo.ph!

      Thanks for joining us last year and we’re looking forward to seeing you again this July. Delivery will be optional and only offered for online registration. Claiming of race kits will be in June. You have to claim them personally or authorize someone to get it in your behalf.

    Hi. May nabasa kasi ako sa link na na-share ng takbo.ph sa fb about sa personalized bib. Sabi dun yung online registrant lang ang pwede magkaroon ng personalized bib :-(. Tapos sabi naman dito yung early registrant. Paki liwanagan naman po. Salamat po.

        Maam, alin po ba ung singlet design? Ung nasa takbo.ph na red? Or sa takbo.net na blue? Magkaiba din ung medal design. And may singlet sample po ba sa onsite reg or size chart po?

          Hi Yhan. This year’s singlet is blue which is at http://www.takbo.net. The red singlet you saw is probably the Runfest 2013 edition. Size chart is at the takbo.net also. We also prepared sample singlets once we start registration at the stores.
