Takbo.ph Crystal Ball: KOTR 2014, Nike We Run 2014 and Bogus Races
It’s been a while since my crystal ball glowed and gave me a vision of the future of running. In these past days, I have been trying to understand the vision my crystal ball is giving. It has been blurry and confusing so I will do my best to interpret my crazy crystal ball.
In the past, the Takbo.ph Crystal Ball has a been 50% accurate. Will it continue to keep the score? Here are the predictions from my Takbo.ph Crystal Ball.
Admin Note: This blog post is for fun only so don’t take it seriously. But then again, I have some inside info when it comes to running. 😉
First Vision: Nike We Run Far Far Away. After a successful Nike We Run 2013 in Marikina, my crystal ball is showing the Swoosh running in a far away place. Will they change the venue again for the Nike We Run 2014? How does Valenzuela sound? Or Caloocan? Oh, please…
Second Vision: A King without a crown. Oh no, this doesn’t look good. The adidas King of the Road (KOTR) is usually held during October or November. Then last year, it was on July. This year, my crystal ball is not showing anything about the adidas KOTR. Nothing about the KOTR in the Philippines, and even in Singapore and Malaysia. Will there be an adidas KOTR 2014, or none at all?
Third Vision: Foods Only. This one is very scary. It’s a warning. Watch out for a possible bogus race organizer. Their registration site is inside a condo unit. And they will ask you to bring “foods” as registration fee. Be warned.
Forth Vision: Merrell Gone Mad. Does it mean, there will be no Merrell Adventure Run 2014? Or will it mean that they are cooking something even better this 2014 for the runners?
Fifth Vision: Brooks Is Happy. And it probably means there will be a Brooks Run Happy 2014!!! I’m happy too. But why are there no buildings around… Hmmm…
Which ones do you think would come true? And which ones are purely crazy? 😀

NIKE WE RUN BGC will be very good!
But in fairness, mas maluwag ng konti na yung sa Marikina. If they go back to BGC or MoA, it will be more crowded for that number of runners. 😀
NIKE Marikina ulit.. KOTR naman dapat kaliwaan ang bayad at yung racekit…RU series should impose cutoff just like MILO.. MILO please dont ever try to use pre paid card. 2XU sana yung shoes na ang freebie nila. Coach RIO,, add ka ng isa pang leg sa RU Series mo Leg 4.. Ultra marathon naman para naman mabago..
Francis Magalona Run part 2?? meron na kasing Pidol 2 eh sana yung buhay naman di yung mga patay na lang lagi.. bakit kaya di na lang gumawa ng RUN si Bearwin na pwede tumatak sa mga runners like RU series…
oh no, sana di mmagkatotoo yung 3rd vision :), magdadala na nga kame ng food sa condo mabubugbog pa kame? hehehe

Nike we run in Paris is for girls. Sana sa Pilipinas hindi…
