Nike Women’s Half Marathon Manila 2016 or also known as the NRC Women’s Half Marathon MNL 2016 will be on May 15, 2016 in Cavitex.
This is an all-women race, open for all women aged 16 years old and above. It will still be a buddy race so start training with your running buddy for the 21K!

Ganun po talaga kasi you’re only registering for yourself po sa una. Magkahiwalay po ang registration ng captain account sa buddy account. Once you are finished po and nabayaran mo na yung 2700, that’s the only time po na makakapagregister yung buddy niyo.

Can you please explain what happened at the end of the race? I’m sure you know that your responsibility to take care of runners does not end as soon as we cross that finish line. I’m talking about the total failure of transportation wherein runners got stuck for hours either on the buses that never left Island Cove’s parking lot. Some had to stand under the heat of the midday sun (apparently some of the buses have left for MOA and they needed to wait for their return). Some, like me and my running buddy, had to stand on the overpacked bus after being on our legs for that 21k race. Eventually we had to sit on the floor. Some had to leave the overpacked bus, like a couple of my friends, because after already feeling so exhausted after the race, the conditions on that bus made them feel even worse. Some had to find their own transpo back to Manila. I’m sure you know that after a race, all we want to do is go back home and de-stress. What happened added more to our stress.
This was my first race organized by Runrio but I didn’t have a good experience. Aside from this transportation mess, your communication was also found lacking. I had to send multiple emails before I got any response and the responses sound like they came from a bot and not a human being. One inquiry was left unanswered. When I did get a human-like response, they were not helpful or thorough. The response time also took several days.
To be objective though, the handling of the race during that entire 21km course was pretty good – ample medics, water stations, signs, marshalls to keep runners safe.
Overall, I had a great day during this half-marathon because of my friends. Unfortunately, the organizers alsmost ruined it.
How come we don’t have a finisher’s shirt?The Taipei Half Marathon had a medal, towel and finisher’s shirt.
Please address. We deserve to have this for the fee that we paid, not just the necklace.
