Update as of October 17 – Takbo.ph RunFest Manila Marathon 2016 will NOT push through due to road restrictions by MMDA. See you in 2017 and make sure to train well for a challenging route!

How go register?
San ba magbabayad at makukuha na ba agad ang race kit? Yun bang jeep na may nakalagay na marathon at parang flag ng pinas ang t-shirt? e, di maganda.
Seriously. Why always last minute announcement ang race details? We need at least a few months (minimum 3 months but PREFERABLY 6 MONTHS ADVANCE INFO) to decide whether to join a particular race and to prepare for it. This doesn’t happen in other countries. Only in the Philippines. Late sa lahat, doesn’t matter where or what.

Sana po maglagay kayo ng in store registration sa Trinoma kc nilalakad ko lang yon at dun na ako magbabayad or onsite registration.

LOL. Sabi na nga ba cancelled to eh. Di kasi pina-approve kagad, gusto pa last 2 months bago asikasuhin yung mga kelangan approval. Sayang naman. Good luck sa 2017. Sana organize nyo ng mas maaga para di magka-problema, wag parating last minute organizing.
armynael Yeah This is due to lack of planning but mainly incompetency of the Organizer. 42K is a long route so kailangan na i-secure ang papers/plan with the MMDA way in advance. Akala siguro nung lead person in Takbo.ph na nag-organize nito ganun ganun lang. Walang sense of urgency and responsibility. Ayan na-cancel. Lol
Dear Takbo.ph, please hire a more competent lead person organizer next year and for sure tuloy yan.
