Filinvest Endurance Weekend 2018 (Alabang)

Filinvest Endurance Weekend 2018, the much awaited mountain bike race in Metro Manila, is set to blaze the urban trails of Filiinvest City Alabang on July 7-8. This is the 6^th year of the annual MTB event, this year it also coincides with Filinvest’s “Festival of Possibilities.”

Participants of the race will have to cycle their way through a 5 kilometer loop several times depending on which among the three categories they are in- 6 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour. Aside from individual racers, there are also team brackets for the 12 hour (2 person team) and 24 hour (3 person team) categories.

Each biker is expected to complete “x” number of loops based on their category. As such, 6 hour riders need to circle six times within the cut-off time. Same thing goes for all categories 12 hours- 12 loops, 24 hours- 24 loops. For team races, the total loops are divided equally among each team member. In which case, the three members of the 24 hour team needs to finish 8 loops each and two members of the 12 hour team needs to finish 6 loops each.

Organizers are expecting about 500 bikers across all categories for the event. Expect to have a memorable race with a rolling course with a mixture of trail and road sections.
