Takbo.Ph, together with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines, is launching a wildlife-themed virtual ride and run experience entitled, “At Home for A Home: Move for Biodiversity.”
This virtual event is a four-part series which aims to raise awareness on the multitude of benefits that wildlife conservation brings to nature, as well as highlight four endangered species, namely the Tamaraw, the Sea Turtle, the Whale Shark, and the Panda. This is the fourth leg of the virtual ride and run! By adding up the kilometers you crunch through during your daily jogging/cycling sessions with a GPS running app, and reaching the finish line of your choice, you can win the corresponding exclusive kits.
Sign up to complete a total mileage of either 21KM, 50KM, 100KM or 200KM. Then, run anytime and anywhere between August 1 to August 31. Once you reach your running goal, you get the WWF Race With The Wild – Marine-a-thon Finisher Shirt and Finisher Medal.

This is a Virtual Run. The distance is not to be completed in just one run. Instead, you can run a few kilometers in a day from August 1-31, 2021 until you complete the target distance.

STEP 3: Upload payment slip and Update your profile
Upload the deposit slip and update your profile in your TAKBO.PH VIRTUAL RACE account to include the following
- Full Name
- Shipping Address
- Mobile Number
- Race details: Category | Shirt size | Payment method
IMPORTANT: Make sure to double check your DISTANCE CATEGORY AND SHIRT SIZE as we do not allow changes.
STEP 4: Track and record your run session
You can use any FREE running app from your Android or iOS smartphone. Strava, Runkeeper, Runtastic are some of the common running apps that can be used. Other apps are also OK. Just take a screenshot of your run and upload it to your profile or account. You can check our list of common apps here. http://www.takbo.ph/2017/12/best-running-apps-track-runs/
If you are using a GPS watch like Garmin, Soleus, Suunto and others, you can take a photo of your watch and upload it.
If you are using a fitness band like Fitbit, Fossil Q, Jawbone, Mi Band, Apple Watch, Samsung Gear and others, we recommend submitting a screenshot of its partner app since it has a more complete data.
If you run on a treadmill, you can take a photo of the treadmill dashboard and upload it to your profile or account.
STEP 5: Upload your run session
Upload the photo or screenshot of your run session to your TAKBO.PH VIRTUAL RACE account.
Our moderators will review and verify your run session before they will be credited to your total mileage.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to follow the time format (HH:MM:SS) and that the screenshot/photo has BOTH the distance and the duration of the run. Otherwise, your submission will not be valid.
Our moderator may reject your run submission if the time format is incorrect or the screenshot has missing details.

FINISHER ENTITLEMENT
Complete your running distance to earn these finishers entitlements. Your entitlements will be delivered to your address after the end of the virtual race. See Delivery FAQs
