DZMM Takbo Para sa Karunungan 3/5/10/21K (Manila)
DZMM is producing their second annual “DZMM Takbo Para sa Karunungan,” a fun run that will benefit scholars from Sendong-hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan. It will be held on March 11, 2012, 6 a.m. at the Quirino Grandstand. The event will be for the benefit of 25 students from Cagayan de Oro and 25 more from Iligan and will also raise funds for the continued scholarship of the 25 Ondoy victims who were chosen as beneficiaries of last year’s run.

Kung magpaparegister sa Trinoma, makukuha ba agad ang racekit? Kasi sasadyain pa namin ang pagpunta doon for registration only.
Clarification lang, registration fee for 5K run on top of this, is P350. Pero ang nakalagay sa registration form ay P400. Which is the correct amount? Inconsistent info yata!
As verified with the Takbo Para sa Karunungan secretariat registration fee for 3K and 5K is 400 pesos.

Mas ok pala sa DZMM Takbo para sa Karunungan pang-masa ang registration fee at kahit minimum wage earner kayang kaya na sumali di mabigat sa bulsa.

Sana man lang may finisher shirt for 21K. I joined last year and nothing special on this event. Wala man lang freebies.The time is manual, tapos ung artista lang pwedeng dumaan dun sa gitna ng starting line, so disappointing!

The race started late pa. I don’t know if I wanna run a 21k that starts at 6ish.

very irritating ang call center nyo.. not helpful! I just called today and when the rep answered the phone soon as i mentioned i have inquiries about the dzmm run she directed me i think to a local no. NA WALA NAMAN SUMASAGOT!!!!!!! what kind of customer service do u offer?
i totally agree sis! super irritating!!! i was calling the local numbers they gave since monday to confirm the gun start per category which is very important for the runners. im not sure why they cant give the exact time. sa saturday na kaya yun!
attention po sa mga organizers ng run!!! kahit sa official website nyo walang nakalagay na gunstart? super hassle naman kung pupunta kami dun ng before 4am tapos ang gunstart pala namin 6am pa. paki-confirm po pls…

Sorry for the confusion but the first announcements had a different registration fee. Even philstar.com had the old fees in their announcements.

i think the assembly time is 4am. yun din ang nakapost sa website nila. i tried calling the contact numbers posted here and even dzmm’s website to clarify the gun start pero walang sumasagot. 3 days ako nag-attempt tumawag kaso wala talaga. sana may magreply dito kasi sa sunday na to. the organizers are unreachable.
i guess walang paki alam sila sa mga runners this is just waste of money to join this fun run.. planning pa naman sana but i review all the comments and nobody answer all the questions..ano ba yan? another palpak nanaman cguro yan..
Hi Rose maganda yung running event na ito..actually may mga elite runners kang makikita sa event na ito..Yung finisher shirt and medals pang consolation lang yun.
yung finisher shirt and medals or even singlet, kahit wala nun basta ok yung cause, ayos na sana. nakakainis lang talaga na hindi sila ma-reach for actual gun start per category. 4 am ang assembly time nila pero ano yung actual gunstart? nakakapagsisi na nagregister pa ako dito. sana sa ibang run na lang. may mga kasabay din naman to na ok yung cause. may full details pa.
