Takbo Para Sa Karagatan 2012 3/5K (Dagupan)
The Takbo Para Sa Karagatan 2012, an event during the Dagupan Bangus Festival 2012 had a primary objective to raise funds to support the PNP Region 1 Maritime Unit’s purchase of speed motorboats with faster engines, able to compete with those used by illegal fishing units in the coast of Pangasinan. This will be held on April 21, 2012 at City Plaza, Dagupan City. It also highlights the importance of preserving and protecting the Lingayen Gulf, the natural habitat of the Bonuan Bangus and other endangered marine life.
