The Pink Run: D’Feeting Breast Cancer will be held on October 21, 2012 at Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill, Taguig City. There will be a 3Km, 5Km, 10Km, 15Km race categories. Registration is ongoing. This charity fun run is for the benefit of indigent breast cancer patients and the ongoing programs for breast cancer awareness.

Can registration be opened at Mizuno Eastwood Mall as well? That would be really convenient for runners working/living in the area. Thanks!
we’ll try to work that one out. but as of now, the closest registration venue we have closest to the eastwood area would be mizuno megamall.

assembly time is at 5am. a short opening program is then followed by warm-up/stretching routines.
gun starts are as follows: 15km @ 5:30am, 10km @ 5:40am, 5km @ 5:50am, and 3km @ 6am.

yes Wufei, this is open for male and female runners. during the pink run 2010, almost half of the participants were guys. anyone can join and support the cause. 🙂

there are a number of freebies for all finishers. i just can’t say what exactly at this time.

francis, the event is organized by the philippine society of general surgeons as part of its breast cancer awareness program. the race management is by Jonel Mendoza of FrontRunner Magazine.

hi! we tried to have a registration site in the alabang area but to no avail. and due to time constraints we don’t think we’ll be able have one anymore. you can go to the nearest reg venue at ROX bonifacio high street. hope to see you at the run!

hi bambi, the free check-up is right after the run. we will try to accomodate everyone. so it will be on as long as there are people availing of it. or until mckinley tells us to pack up. it’ll be safe to say that it will be on until before noon.

yes graemann you can do that. however, your name may not show up in the official results, just your new bib number, since you entered a new distance on site. it would be better to have it changed prior to the run so your name/entry will be properly encoded into the new category.

@Alfred Lasala: Sir, Naka register nako at kapatid ko sa Pink run para sa 15k at 10k. Meron lang sana ako gusto itanong sa inyo, para sa 10k 2 lang un water station at para sa 15k 4 lang? hindi ba kulang un? Lalo na late un gun start sisikatan na ng araw un mga runners lalo na un mga 15k mas kailangan nila ng hydration. Water station lang ba meron? Meron din ba tyo na sports drink station? Malamig ba un tubig sa water station or room temp lang? Salamat sa oras ng pag basa at pag sagot! Mabuhay ka!
thanks for the inquiries sir juan. our race director assures us that there will be more than adequate water stations along the routes for all distances. there will also be bottled water at the finish line. and Gatorade is our official energy drink sponsor.

Sir Alfred, un ang naka lagay sa race map na kasama sa race kit. 4 Water stations sa 15k while 2 water stations sa 10k. Kung mas marami water stations mas maganda un para sa mga tatakbo lalo na kung may sports drink pa.
sir juan, if you’d notice, runners will be passing each water station twice. after you pass by the first water station, you will be passing the same one on your way back. in essence, for the 10k run, the 2 water stations will be passed by twice each, making a virtual 4 water stations along the way. plus one water station at the finish line making a total of 5. for the 15k, there are 4 water stations, which you will pass twice each. plus one at the finish line for a total of 9 rehydration stations. hope this clears things up for you.
Sir alfred, oo runners will pass by the water stations twice but if i read the map correctly 2 water station doon once mo lang puede gamitin lalo na un sa may u turn sa lawton Ave. going to 5th Ave. alangan naman pag kainum mo e iinum ka ulit and un sa start and finish line medyo alanganin din un. I hope the organizers will take time and the effort to add more water stations lalo doon sa end ng u turn sa Lawton Ave. papuntang south super hiway and sa end ng U turn sa may bayani road. More water stations lalo na medyo late gun start, di na bale sobre ang water station kesa kulang sa runners point of view pero as a organizer un logistics and added man power anyway sana magawan ng paraan and suggestion lang naman un akin. TO OTHER RUNNERS, MAGDALA NG SARILING HYDRATION NA LANG TO MAKE SURE. Also i would like to ask kung totoo na may medal ang mga finishers? Or pang 15k lang un? If you arrive early the parking behind Piazza may still be open. If not, I think one of the buildings there have parking spaces that runners can use.

Good day! If coming from EDSA Ayala what is the best way to go to Venice Piazza McKinley Hill I’m not so familiar with the place. BGC lang po alam ko..
Take the McKinley Rd from EDSA Ayala. Same road going to BGC. But turn right at 5th Ave then go straight at Lawton Ave. McKinley will be to your left right before the Philippine Army.
