The Laoag Marathon 2013 will be on February 23, 2013 at Laoag City Hall. The grand and majestic allure of the Laoag sand dunes have left visiting runners dumbfounded in awe (interspersed with occasional grunts and intermittent groans due to a painfully bittersweet, sandy terrain). Still offering a 12-kilometer sandy route under the warm auspices of an Ilocos sun set against the backdrop of the magnificent South China Sea, Laoag Marathon 2013 likewise showcases the rest of Laoag’s pride.

finisher’s medal will be given to all 42k and 21k finishers.

We have updated our event website so hydration station legends are now incorporated in our race map and info about finisher’s shirt are posted as well.

Is there a shuttle bus for Metro Manila Runners?
Sir we cannot provide you with a shuttle bus from Manila to Laoag. But there are several bus companies that travels Manila-Laoag on daily trips: Florida Bus, Partas Lines and Fariñas Trans.

Updated info: Our event official carrier for participants from Manila is Fariñas Trans, prticipants can avail of 30% fare discount going and return, just present your registration form and valid ID to the bus conductor.

to the organizers pls..why not have one registration center here in metro manila particularly at trinoma or sm north edsa, it’s quite easy to access going there since the route is along edsa mostly buses are passing this area so that manila participants will get easier to register..please update if possible..

Congrats to all finishers and the organizers! Toughest 42k i’ve ran so far. Those rolling sand dunes! But with a flat paved 1st half route going to-from airport. Great that it was cloudy and not hot. Enjoyed the beach part very strong waves but very serene atmosphere just enjoyed walk-run along sand part. Kulang nga lang marshals or route guides after the beach area. Still I finished it with a sub-5 time! 🙂 Race results out at
