The X-Sports Band is a silicon band with a name plate that can be engraved, for free, with your personal and/or emergency information.
It’s like RoadID. Just google RoadID to find out more.
Important for runners, cyclists. When we run, usually we don’t have our information with us. Should something unfortunate happen, this band will have your emergency information engraved on it. So first responders will know how to get in touch with your loved ones. It can also have your blood type, etc.

What’s the use of another medal or a finisher’s shirt? Most runs give those away and most shirts are made of cheap material anyway. I’d rather get something of real value.

The retail value of the X-Sports Band is definitely higher than a medal.=) Much higher in fact.
If you register at Chris Sports or Fitness and Athletics, a claim stub for the X-Sports Band is attached to the race bib. You can bring this to the Bead Shop to claim your band anytime.
Engraving is done by the Bead Shop also.
If you register online at http://www.rebiscorun.com, before March 17, we will deliver your race kit, with the engraved band to you, for FREE. What better incentive to register early right?

Actually, it is not like baller ID. It is more like RoadID. You can google RoadID for more information.
But you are right, you can engrave with your personal and/or emergency information. Like Name, in case of emergency contact, blood type, favorite quote, etc.

i think medals should be reserved for top finishers, not for all participants (unless it’s marathon distance or more). finisher shirts or other freebies/souvenir items will be enough for me.
Nice Idea po sa Sports band para maiba naman…question lang po, since most likely eh 1 sports band lang ang bibigay per bib/tag, (1)Pwede po ba kami mag purchase ng extra Commemorative sports band sa venue? (Baka kasi wala kaming choice sa kulay at di nemin type yung mapunta samen or pang reserve na rin).Saka (2) may Bead Shop po sa may SM Southmal na nearest samen, pwede rin po ba dun na lang magpa engrave/personalize? Hi Ric. The X-Sports Band is available for retail at The Bead Shop. I think the price is about 400 Php. But joining the race will be a lot fun and will have other freebies from sponsors. 😉
Im not sure if Southmall will accept the STUB so you can get the engraving for free. Right now our participanting branches are SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, Glorietta, Power Plant Mall, and Robinsons Place Manila.
Ahh oki po sir Manokan. Will definitely join the race especially I’m a Rebisco kid. So kung di man tanggapin yung stub, di naman siguro ganun kamahalan yung pag engrave ano? Sir Nube, the band is adjustable. Para siyang watch strap. Mahaba yung strap when you get it. Then you cut off the excess silicon band and adjust the watch strap. One size fits all.

Hi FirstTimeRunner. I am also 5’8″ and I weigh 150 lbs. My size is Medium and it’s a perfect fit for me. When I say perfect fit meaning parang slim fit na shirt. Not tight fit ha…slim fit lang, if you get what I mean. hehe. If you like it loose, then maybe go a size bigger.

Tanong ko lang po ang gagamiting timing dito ay ung RFID Timing, ano po ba kaibahan nito sa Timing Chip at Timing Code? Ano po physical appearance nito?
Ok na po nag research ako sa internet at nabasa ko na ang RFID Timing(Radio Frequency Identification)ay tinatawag din palang Timing Chip. Transponder Timing pala itong ginagamit sa mga fun run events.
Ang mahal naman ng reg fees. Okay sana kung run for a cause. Pero hello, run for 50th anniv lang toh boi! Ang mahal. Free daw yung band, syempre included na yun sa binayaran mo.
Hi Glenda. This run is for a cause. It is a joint project of our batch, Xavier School batch 1988. We are celebrating our 25th year from graduation and proceeds of this run will go the Xavier School Educational Trust Fund. This is a scholarship fund that goes to support the scholars of Xavier.
Regarding the X-Sports Band, retail price of similar products like Road ID is more than the registration fee. So it really is free.
Because not only are you getting the band, you will also get an imported dri-fit singlet, lootbag of Rebisco products, etc. Rebisco will set up booths at the event area for product sampling and other activities. It is sure to be a fun event and worth your money.

Hi Jo. At checkout, it will prompt you ith a P79 delivery charge. But after you input your address and before you finally pay, the delivery charge will reverse. We do not exactly understand why Multiply set up its system that way. I understand that it is causing some confusion. But just input your address and proceed. The charge will be reversed.

Hi Jo, after completing registration and payment, we will email you a link to an online registration form. This is where you will input the band engraving details.
Please fill up this form as soon as you receive it. Because processing of your race kit will only start after we receive this form. Please allow 10-15 days before you receive your race kit because of the engraving time.

Ok. I got my X-Sports Band! Despite my initial skepticism, it actually looks and feels good! It does not feel like something cheap and will fall apart right away. The silicon is firm and actually requires a sharp blade to cut properly for a perfect fit. It has ridge markings which can act as a guide where to cut. The engraving was done quickly by the Bead Shop and it does not look like it will fade away any time soon. I put my emergency contact details (my wife’s name and contact number), my blood type and the fact that I am diabetic so that in case of an emergency……..
Anyway, good job Xavier 88 and Rebisco! Sa X-Sports Band pa lang panalo na!

Our batch is celebrating our Silver Jubilee this year and we are doing this project to raise funds to support the Xavier School Educational Trust Fund. This is a scholarship fund of the school that supports underprivileged students.

Im very disappointed on the quality of the singlets, “rebisco” print in front is very thick, this will cause major skin chafing. you can actually feel the print out inside the shirt. i dont understand why the singlet is that bad, i would prefer a better singlet and not get that band you are giving for free. i am very sure that more than half of the runners will not be wearing this shirt on race day.

Bad organizers of this event and multiply.com up to now I havent received my kit and wrist band. I registered online sometime last week of february and paid thru my credit card but unfortunately the kit has not been delivered to my address. The event will be on sunday. What a bad experience

where is my band? i registered very early, paid thru card too. was on time with the submission of the form for the band. soooo, where is it? ugly singlet, band not delivered, what else? maybe limited marshalls on the zigzag 10k route? or no water station? in case we dont get out band before the run (even if some of us, registered on time and submitted the forms on time). maybe a partial refund would be best. please reply from here and not thru my email so that others can see your reply.
FYI, organizing a RUN event is not that easy! you may earn some money, but make sure that its organized. its actually runing the REBISCO name. tsk tsk tsk.

please update us REBISCO organizers!!! Got the courier delivery of my race kit. where is my xband? i was planning on wearing it on race day. why no update? can i not claim it nalang and get a refund or something? useless na, as that is one of the reasons why i joined too! Boooooooo!
called rebisco office, accommodating naman yun contact dun, its the xavier88 organizers yun magulo at di naguupdate. muhkang ngang tinipid yun singlet. 🙁 x-sport band is not in the package that was delivered. 🙁 no use na, gusto ko pa naman magamit un x-sport band sa run. pwede bang partial refund? i dont like the band anymore if i will not be able to use it on race day. thanks!
