Glow in Motion Run Introduces adidas’ Daily Trainer Shoe Switch FWD

adidas Runners Manila (aRM) hosted last September 7 the Glow in Motion event, a short run with obstacles, in BGC, Taguig.  The event also marked aRM’s 6th anniversary which was commemorated with an after-party where participants get to dine and meet other members of the running club.

Using advanced design techniques, the shoe’s core – the EVA compound midsole – has specially crafted gaps that compress and rebound, turning weight into forward momentum. This propels athletes of every skill level, offering a unique running experience only found in such tech-driven footwear.

The EVA midsole, paired with the TPU plate, guarantees a comfortable and steady movement through the forefoot and midfoot during each step.

The new SWITCH FWD boasts a lightweight Continental™ outsole for enhanced grip in any weather. This is paired with a breathable engineered mesh upper, having specific ventilation zones at the forefoot and midfoot.

“We’re always looking at innovative ways to redefine our design processes to bring real benefits to our community – whether they are at the top of the sport, or an everyday runner,” said Mili Seiffert, Global Product Manager at adidas Running.

“While it sounds simple, the ambition to convert weight into forward motion is easier said than done. It’s taken years of testing with athletes of every level to get where we have today. It’s a triumph of innovation, and a testament to our ambition and drive to deliver new running shoe technology,” she added.

For its debut, the shoe comes in a main white and silver violet shade with lucid lemon highlights for women. For men, it’s available in white and wonder blue, accented with lucid lemon touches.

The Switch FWD retails at PHP 8.500 and is available online at https://www.adidas.com.ph/running, in the adidas app, and in its outlet stores.

Our review of the shoe will come out in the next few days, so stay tuned and find out our recommendation.
