Tuguegarao Half Marathon 2026

Tuguegarao City has seen a significant shift toward an active and health-conscious lifestyle after the pandemic, with running and fitness becoming a cultural movement. Over 10 running events have been organized in the city in the past year alone, attracting locals and runners from nearby provinces, showcasing a thriving running culture.

Health and wellness tourism is growing nationwide, with runners traveling to join city-organized runs, boosting local economies and putting cities on the map as fitness destinations. As one of the pioneers of the running community in the region, Tuguegarao has the potential to brand itself as a running-friendly city and hub for such events in Northern Luzon.

By integrating a running event in the city, we can strengthen Tuguegarao’s reputation, inspire more residents to embrace an active lifestyle, and invite participants from neighboring regions to experience our city’s hospitality and vibrancy. We are partnering with the City Government of Tuguegarao for this historic tourism and sports event and request support for marketing and logistics that the city government can provide.
