Run Tourism Run 2014 3/5/10K/21K (Clark)
Run Tourism Run 2014 will be on April 26, 2014 at CDC Parade Grounds, Clark. The Alliance of Travel and Tour Agencies of Pampanga, in partnership w/ DOT-RIII presents Run Tourism Run Year 2 – a nightrun. The event’s primary objective is to raise funds to produce promotional materials that would highlight a wide array of tour packages for sale to the tourism public both in the domestic and international fronts. We wish to produce tour shell, tour flyers and tariff sheet that we can bring during our sales missions within and outside the country.
Also, it aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle through running. It will also help promote and support the vision of making Clark Freeport Zone as an ideal “Sports Tourism Venue”.

Looking at the poster, it seems like the people in DOT cannot spell the word “Prize”

To tell you honestly this is the eorst run last year in clark!

I regret attending this event.
A good fellow was kind enough to register for me for free. The registration process was very tedious I was told. Though website says that there’s onsite registration. Anyways, so as to please the kind fellow who registered for me, I drove to Clark all the way from Manila, picked up my race packet from errand boy in SM Clark then proceeded to the venue. There were a handful of runners when I arrived. It was 3:30 and gun start was supposed to start at 4:00. The emcee announced that gun start was rescheduled for 4:30. I was still waiting for arrival of runners. The atmosphere was a little somber.
The race route was good. Hydration is placed every 2 kms. But, overall, the event was not worth wasting 1k for gas and toll fee, and not mention other incidental expenses.
