U.P. Rising Virtual Run 2021
U.P. Rising, a virtual run and ride organized by the UP Law Class 1996 Alumni Association, Inc. in partnership with Takbo.ph, aims to raise funds for the iskolars ng bayan who, with the pandemic, faced extremes choices – halting their schooling or dedicating more of their family’s meager resources to legal education. With U.P. Rising, UP Law Class 1996 also seeks to augment the inadequate funding provided by the government to the medical needs of the regular law school faculty, which have been heightened by the Covid-19 pandemic.
UP Law Class 1996 Alumni Association, Inc., a non-profit organization, is committed to the principle that education is a solid foundation for a responsible citizenry and an improved nation.
Proceeds of U.P. Rising and its other fund-raising activities will go primarily to the UP Law Scholarship Fund and UP Law Faculty Medical Fund.
Sign up to complete a total mileage of either 21K, 50K, 100K or 200K. Then, run anytime and anywhere between October 1 to November 15. Once you reached your running goal, you get the U.P. Rising Virtual Run Shirt and Finisher Medal.

This is a Virtual Run. The distance is not to be completed in just one run. Instead, you can run a few kilometers in a day from October 1 – November 15, 2021 until you complete the target distance.
