Vibram FiveFingers Now Available in the Philippines

We have seen several runners who are into barefoot running in local races. Back in Janauary of this year, we have posted an article about the benefits of running barefoot in a breakthough research and we provided some tips for those who wanted to start barefoot running.

The FiveFingers Classic features a simple design.  No laces, no straps.  Classic is best for running, fitness/martial training, yoga/pilates, travel and climbing.  Selling price for Classic is 3,950 Php.

The FiveFingers Sprint adds the strap from their Classic design.  This makes a more personalized and secure fit.  Vibram FiveFingers Sprint is best for running, light trekking, climbing/bouldering, canyoneering, fitness/martial arts training, yoga/pilates, travel and water related activities or sports like sailing/boating, kaKayaking/canoeing, surfing, and fishing.  Selling price for Sprint is 4,450 Php.

KSO means Keeps Stuff Out. It adds a breathable upper mesh to completely cover the foot and “keep stuffs out” like sand and small rocks.  It also has a strap to secure the fit. KSO is best for running, light trekking, climbing, yoga/pilates & travel.  Selling price for KSO is 4,950 Php.

The Vibram FiveFingers are now easily available here in the Philippines. The kiosk is located at Level 1, Powerplant Mall Rockwell Center, Makati City, Philippines (at the bridgeway near Anne Klein).  Two new Vibram FiveFingers models might be available this year.  This will be the Speed and Bikila model.

When you are planning start barefoot running, do not rush and give your feet time to adjust as the muscles in your feet have been encased and protected in regular shoes from the start.
